Independent Residential Valuations for Poulsbo Homeowners in Kitsap County

Poulsbo Property Appraisals , Little Norway on Liberty Bay

Poulsbo is one of the most distinctive communities on the Kitsap Peninsula, known throughout the Pacific Northwest as ‘Little Norway’ for the Scandinavian heritage that has defined its character since Norwegian immigrant Jorgen Eliason founded the settlement on Liberty Bay in the 1880s. The city of approximately 12,000 to 13,000 residents sits at the north end of Liberty Bay in northern Kitsap County, with a picturesque downtown of rosemaled storefronts, a waterfront boardwalk, and views across the bay toward the Olympic Mountains. The city has grown more than 71% since 2000 and is projected to reach nearly 20,000 by 2044.

Poulsbo’s housing stock spans older neighborhoods near the downtown Liberty Bay waterfront to newer residential development in the Vinland, Forest Rock Hills, and Viking Avenue areas. Median home values sit around $630,000, and with approximately 22% of residents over age 65 and a large retirement-age population, estate appraisals are among the most frequent valuation needs in this community. Atled Enterprises serves Poulsbo as part of its Kitsap County coverage, extending the same South Sound expertise that has served clients throughout the region since 1992.
